Spring is almost here. An individual workshop at the Spring Watercolor and Mixed Media Workshop in Illinois. It feels so good to be able to get together and make it again! I will be teaching two very enjoyable workshops. One grow geneva the other one is Blumen Gardens.
The first workshop I teach on March 12th is a beautiful shop grow geneva in Geneva, Illinois.
Spend some time painting a cute watercolor spring wreath using simple watercolor techniques. All materials will be provided and each person will depart with their finished work and framing mat. Play with both watercolor pencils and regular watercolors. Register here to get your place!
Aren’t these mushrooms sweet? With a whimsical personality, it reminds me of a circle of forest fairies!
Then on March 18th, I will be teaching watercolors of spring branches and nests at Blumen Gardens in Sycamore, Illinois.
This is a great workshop for beginners and painters of all skill levels. Step by step paint the whimsical branches with nests with blue eggs at the ends. This is also a workshop where all materials are provided and each painter leaves with a finished artwork and a mat for framing. You can register for the workshop here.
I love the idea of nests and twigs for spring, with a little bit of greenery protruding from the underside. Perfect for spring art prints and can be hung on the wall to add a nice pop of color to your decor.
I am so excited to have these spring watercolor workshops and spend time with you in these beautiful surroundings! Looking for some art to make in the meantime? Try how to paint forsythia branches tutorial.
