My 9 year old daughter Fay and I have been looking for the perfect traditional wallpaper for her room. When I shared my first moodboard, potential wallpaper I was very intrigued by it, but as more and more wallpaper samples arrived (spoiler alert, many samples are free), I changed direction. that’s ok! However, I wanted to answer a frequently asked question. It’s “Julia, how do you find all these wallpaper samples?” Let’s get down to business.
About me: I’ve been saving my favorite wallpapers for years, so when ordering Faye’s room samples, I had a number of online sources in mind, but I also discovered something new along the way. . Here are 28 samples of her that I ordered in hopes of finding the “best fit.”

Faye was immediately very attracted to the charm. This one, which is actually the same one that was in my home office in my previous home, but in a different color. I love it too, but I always like to ask her “why?” For now, she’s as much attracted to Bruce as her mother is ;).
One tip I can share is, if you’re scrolling through Instagram and come across a wallpaper you really like, check to see if the source is tagged, or toss it into Google’s reverse image search to find out what it is. You can check if it is displayed.
By process of elimination we get rid of the “no” samples and we end up with really beautiful wallpaper She’s excited to move forward.
