Moving to a new country with just two suitcases can be daunting. moving to a new country with just two suitcases, live off of them has become even more challenging.
I live in New York City and spend the summer subleasing until I find the perfect apartment in my dream neighborhood. For now, I enjoy flying around each area and experiencing everything, whether it’s ultra-modern Long Island City or quaint and quiet Park Slope.
But while it’s great to explore different neighborhoods and live in different parts of the city, it’s been difficult to really settle down. During long stays and limited space to store my belongings, I store most of my belongings in suitcases and only store daily necessities and clothing that needs to be hung in a closet to prevent wrinkles in the apartment’s storage space. I used it for .
I knew I would be spending time moving and subletting until I found my own apartment, and finding space for my things among the apartment tenants’ belongings was difficult. I also knew Plus, New York apartments are notoriously small, so it’s always been a bit of a challenge.
To make sure my toiletries and beauty products stay organized while I move from place to place, I invested in a hanging toiletries bag. I’d even say it’s life changing, to be honest. I put the product back in the bag immediately after use, so I keep it neat and tidy and don’t leave anything on the sink. It’s also great for living in tight spaces because it frees up the counter and makes things look less cluttered. This can happen quickly when there isn’t much space to process.
When I move to a new place, the first thing I do is take a compact toiletry bag out of my suitcase, unzip it, and hang it on the bathroom door (or maybe a towel rail, since there was no door hook). That’s it. ). Unzip the bag to reveal 4 separate compartments (2 large and 2 small). So many.basically modern Mary Poppins bag. The top of the first compartment has a hanger that can be hooked to a handle or rail.
At first, I was a little hesitant to overstuff it in case the handle broke off, but it’s safe to say that this bag has some durability. Small compartments hold various items such as toothbrush heads, medicines, tweezers, and skin care tools, while large compartments hold sunscreen, hair care, perfume, makeup, and more. It holds almost all of your toiletries, but there’s definitely room for something else.
I love that I don’t have to hunt around when the bag is completely opaque and the compartments are transparent so I can see exactly what I need. I know what’s in it so I know if I’m missing something or need to restock.
Once the bag is zipped up, it has a convenient carrying handle so you can easily carry it anywhere you go. Once closed the bag is very compact and I was surprised at how little space it actually takes up in my suitcase.
At $21, it was a great bargain considering the functionality of this product. Sure, there were more expensive branded bags, but the playful colors and patterns and thousands of his five-star reviews got me interested in this one. Whether you’re traveling between countries like I am, or traveling on summer vacation, if you’re determined to stay organized, this bag is worth checking out.
