I used heart of palm noodles instead of pasta and loved it so much that I created this spicy chicken version. I have already made this dish for lunch several times.

It provides small amounts of several other nutrients such as magnesium and folic acid.It is rich in important minerals such as potassium, phosphorus, copper and zinc.

What does Heart of Palm Noodles taste like?

This quick and easy Spicy Heart of Palm Noodle Chicken Stir Fry is made in less than 15 minutes with minced meat, ginger, sesame oil, hoisin sauce and sambal orek.

  • 12 ounce palm noodle package heart, Palmini
  • 8 ounce minced chicken
  • 1 tea spoon sesame oil
  • 3 garlic, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • ¼ cup Reduced salt soy sauce , or gluten-free soy sauce*
  • 1 tablespoon seafood
  • 1 tablespoon Sambal Orek, or use sriracha
  • green onion and sesame, for decoration
  • Place the palm noodle cores in a colander and rinse with cold water to drain.

  • Cook the chicken in a large skillet over high heat with a spray of oil for 5 minutes, breaking up until browned and cooked through.

  • Push meat to one side.

  • Reduce heat to medium-low, add 1 teaspoon oil, garlic, ginger, and noodles, and heat over medium heat for 1-2 minutes.

  • Add soy sauce, shrimp noodles and sambal and simmer for 2-3 minutes to blend the flavors.

  • Mix everything together and transfer to 2 plates.

  • Top with sesame seeds, green onions and sambal as desired.
