There are so many things I love about foil packet dinners. They can be made ahead of time (the day before or in the morning), are travel-friendly, and require virtually no cleanup. Whether you’re camping, in your own backyard (or in the oven), there’s something about ingredients cooking and steaming together over a fire. I am so excited about this newest combo I tried on my recent camping trip… Shrimp Boil Foil Packet! very good!

What is shrimp boil?

If you haven’t heard of shrimp boil, it’s a southern one (although I’m sure other regions have similar versions of crab, lobster, etc.). The packet will do the rest while you cook.

Can you cook foil packets in the oven?

Yes! You don’t need a campfire or grill to enjoy these shrimp boil foil packets. Cook these briefly in a 400 degree Fahrenheit oven for about 35-40 minutes.

Is it safe to cook with aluminum foil?

I get this question every time I post a foil pack recipe.
