Pork marinated in pineapple makes the meat very tender! Try our flavorful marinated pork kebabs this summer.

I recently discovered that pineapple is a great meat tenderizer! After briefly marinating these kabobs in a mixture of pureed fresh pineapple and other goodies, the pork almost fell apart and was very tender. After seeing how well these marinated pork kabobs worked, I can’t wait to try them with other cuts of meat! 🙂
What part of the pork kebab is best marinated?
The best meat for this recipe is tenderloin. I want meat that doesn’t get dry even when grilled.
Can you cook kabobs in the oven?
Yes! You can make a delicious marinated pork kebab without a grill (or any kind!). Simply preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Then cook for about 20-30 minutes, turning occasionally.
Side dish for marinated pork kebab
This particular recipe is full of pineapple flavor, so you’ll want to keep the side dish pretty simple. Pair it with a simple salad topped with grated parmesan, baked sweet potatoes, or fresh fruit. A few other options are this Red Pepper Pesto Pasta Salad, or Southern Potato Salad (no mayonnaise).
