In case you didn’t know, today (February 20th) is National Book Shelf Day. (what isn’t it Is there a National Day at this point?) I heard about it on a podcast, so I thought it would be a good time to at least go through the books I have and see what I haven’t read yet. I keep books that I read and really like. Most of the rest are books I plan to eventually pick up at thrift stores or order second-hand on eBay.
No rhyme or reason on my shelf for now. There is no color coding or alphabetical order. Sometimes I like the bullshit bookshelf look where everything is just shoved together, but it’s nice to know what’s actually waiting to be read.
I pulled out the title that I bought and hid and forgot, and took some pictures. (Let me know if you have any thoughts on what to read next.)
As for the styling part, I’m still pretty happy with how the shelf looks and where the blue and white collection is almost finished. shines brightly.
Are you cleaning your shelves regularly? How do you decide what to keep and what to clear?
