Chinese New Year 2014Chinese New Year 2023.everything you need to know
The 2023 Lunar New Year (according to the lunar calendar) begins on the second New Moon (January 22nd). Many people are confused and each year they receive hundreds of emails asking which New Year they should celebrate and how Chinese people celebrate the New Year. more…

The Chinese calendar (Chinese calendar) or “Tong Shu ‘Tung Sing” is based on lunar cycles, which promotes or recommends certain tasks to be performed on certain days, depending on the combination of heavenly trunks and earthly branches provide guidelines. Virtually every home in Asia has one of these and we refer to it daily. It tells you when to do certain tasks and events and when not to do them.

The year in which an individual was born is made up of two components. First is the stem. The ten trunks represent the five elements of water, wood, fire, earth, and metal in yang and yin states. The essence of this element is indicated by the last digit of the year of birth. 0 (Gold Yang), 1 Gold Yin, 2 (Water Yang), 3 (Water Yin), 4 (Tree Yang), 5 (Tree Shadow), 6 (Fire Yang), 7 (Fire Yin), 8 (Earth Yang) ), 9 (soil shade). For example, if you were born in 1941, the last number for that year is 1, so your square mark is Golden Yin. The second is a branch. Zodiac is the Chinese astrological zodiac: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig. The essence of the individual elements is: Rat (Water Yang), Ox (Earth Shadow), Tiger (Tree Yang), Rabbit (Tree Shadow), Dragon (Sun Sun), Snake (Fire Shadow), Horse (Fire Shadow), Sheep (Earth Shadow), Monkey (Metal) yang), rooster (metal yin), dog (sun yang), and pig (water yin). 1962 is the year of the Yang Water Tiger (Yang Tree).

The elements of the person’s year are Yang Water and Yang Tree. You can find the ground branch for your year of birth according to the table below. The trunk and branches represent each other in a 60-year cycle of Yin and Yang elements. Use the almanacs below each day to help you choose the most auspicious days and times for activities and events such as renovating, traveling, starting a business, or even repairing tools. For the selection of suitable dates, it is advisable to consult a Tomoe expert, as it is the earthly branch of the year that is taken into consideration, the year of choice and the day of the individual. In the olden days, auspicious dates had to be carefully selected for the actual building work, after many features of the building site had been considered, to ensure harmony. It consists of:

  • Up-to-date information on the property’s 9 palace annual energies and 3 annual afflictions according to the Xuan Kong system of feng shui.
  • The “Yellow” or imperial calendar is the days during the year when it is recommended to proceed with or avoid certain tasks or projects. There is a section outlining recommended dates for the “spring cleaning” before Chinese New Year.
  • A good or unlucky day according to the four pillars “Bako” of each year.

For example, if you plan to sign the contract in January 2023, select one.st,Tenth Such. Or if you are having a wedding, choose 8.th9th and so on and avoid a dayst2nd The yearbook is taken very seriously and is used daily by all staff at the Feng Shui store, especially Michael, when consulting, teaching and traveling.

Let’s go one step further. When the hours and moons are in harmony with that person’s earthly branch, it can work in their favor. I have to stress that it’s just a generic way to take advantage. A more complete and accurate analysis of an individual’s best timing requires a deeper interpretation of the individual’s Eight Children (Four Pillars).

Let’s say that day is auspicious for you and you want to start a new business. Choose a suitable date to open your business from this yearbook. You may wish to hold an opening ceremony or make a contract at a time that is convenient for you. For example, if you are a dog, the best times from the chart below are (5am-7am), (11am-1pm), and (7pm-9pm). Well, even if it’s not a good day, at least try to put the good time to good use. If you don’t know Chinese animals, use the table below.
