Vegan Shamrock Shake Ingredients

The recipe calls for your favorite milk, frozen spinach (or a few drops of food coloring), pure peppermint extract, chocolate chips or cacao nibs, and frozen bananas.

No matcha is required, and a banana-free option is also included in the recipe.

I used this green smoothie recipe as a reference.

  • 1 cup milk of your choice
  • 1 frozen banana (Or make this banana-free avocado smoothie recipe)
  • cacao nibs and chocolate chips as you wished
  • 1/8 teaspoon 1/4 teaspoon pure peppermint extract
  • 1 scoop protein powder, option
  • 1/4 cup frozen spinach, option
  • I usually add 1/8 teaspoon salt to bring out the flavor
  • *If you can’t get into a green smoothie, opt for green food coloring or simply sip on a white peppermint shake, which is also delicious.Feel free to use whatever milk you like. Canned coconut milk gives a rich milkshake-like taste, but I really like the lighter results with cashew or almond milk as well. Make sure the bananas you use are at least partially browned so your mint chocolate shake doesn’t have the flavor of unripe earthy bananas.
