red white and blue popsicles
My kids love popsicles on hot summer days and it seems easier to just buy a box at the store. It’s made and filled with wholesome, filling ingredients. Feeding kids something delicious always makes them feel better.
My recipe is super easy and only 3 ingredients. Many red, white, and blue popsicles take longer to make because each layer must be frozen separately. Once frozen, this is a ready-to-use recipe! These are very festive and perfect for 4th of July and other patriotic holidays. Strawberry and blueberry together make a perfect natural color combination for all things red, white and blue.

Ingredients for making red white and blue popsicles
- strawberry: Fresh and ripe strawberries. Did you know that one serving of strawberries provides 100% of your daily value for vitamin C?
- blueberry: Whole fresh blueberry.
- Yogurt: Plain or Vanilla Greek Yogurt.
- popsicle mold: this is mine favorite mold!

How to make red, white and blue popsicles
These are very easy to make and can be made in two different ways depending on how you want them to look.
- rinse
Rinse strawberries and blueberries and pat dry.
- slice/chop
Strawberries can be sliced for a whole fruit look or chopped for a layered look.
- mix
If you’re using plain Greek yogurt, you can sweeten your popsicles with a little maple syrup. If you are using vanilla, no sweetener is needed.
- layer
For a layered look, add chopped strawberries to the bottom of each popsicle mold. If you want to enjoy the whole fruit, add yogurt to about 1/4 of the mold. Put the strawberries and blueberries in the mold and line them up with ice sticks. Add yogurt and berries until the popsicle molds are full. Add popsicle sticks to each mold.
- freezing
Freeze until solid, which takes about 6 hours. fun!
