Everyone seems to be hosting family and friends this time of year, but it doesn’t have to be complicated! There’s nothing wrong with blowing up a few air mattresses for a ‘pop-up’ guest space. That being said, we all know that we haven’t had such a great air mattress experience.
Four of my best friends recently flew to North Carolina for my birthday, so I set up a little “blow-out” sleeping room so we could throw a good old-fashioned pajama party. We bought 5 of the 3 highest rated air mattresses on Amazon and tested them.
All these mattresses are twin size, double height, with internal pump. The extra height and internal pump are non-negotiable for me. Whether you want to sleep on an air mattress or put a customer to sleep, you want to use it comfortably and conveniently!

It has the most 5 star reviews on Amazon. 50,000 reviewsNow it says XL twin but honestly… it’s only about an inch longer than other air mattresses that are listed as standard twin! It is also narrow and short. XL is here!
At first glance, this mattress very cuteThe color of the product photo is slightly different from the actual product, but I prefer the calm blue on the top and the slightly pink on the sides. The top surface is made of a soft, velvety waterproof material, and the sides are made of durable and puncture-resistant PVC material!
It took twice as long to inflate (2 minutes) as the other two. It’s definitely not a deal breaker, but it’s something to be aware of.
comfortable wiseWe all slept, but it happened to be this one that slept.? Not as comfortable as others, but still very comfortable and held up all night!
this is The most attractive air mattress! Both the sides and top are made of this smooth waterproof material. The top was a very pretty tan, and the grooves on the sides of the waist were very comfortable.
As with the King Koil mattress, the fill time was just over a minute.For real Comfortable sleeping (and sitting), I think this is on par with King Koil!
This air mattress is the same velvety, the SoundAsleep mattress has a microfiber waterproof material on top, but that’s about it. I thought this would help keep the sheets from slipping and sliding, but none of the sheets moved on the mattress. , this one has an extra ridge on the pillow.
Overall, really really comfortable Such attractive.

I had a sleepover room ready on Wednesday and my guests arrived on Friday. I had to refill them with a little more air which felt like a testament to their durability. Even my friend’s girlfriend Kelsi, who is 25 weeks pregnant, was sleeping like a baby.
Four of the mattresses are 20 inches deep and one sound asleep It was 18 inches.Wear twin sheets, all 18 inches deep, worked perfectly and stayed in place all night.To round out each bed, I put a queen size comforter, and the extra length on the sides was perfect! You would never guess that these beautifully crafted beds were actually air mattresses.

we all king coil Best air mattress ever! Beauty, comfort and durability exceeded expectations. If I ever need to buy more air mattresses, this is the one I will buy again and again.
of Englishman Close, close seconds. It’s still a slightly lower price for really great quality.
but, sound asleep It was great. With the other two options, it feels like you can get a better air mattress for a better price.
