I usually have my house fall decorated by Labor Day weekend, but this year I’ve been a little behind due to flooding in my laundry room over the summer. Unfortunately, replacing a floor through insurance is not a quick process and can take months. It turned out to be something. At least now we can decorate for autumn! 🙂

There’s nothing like coming home to a warm and cozy front porch. I love having a little light on the front porch to welcome guests when the night starts to get dark early.

Last year, our fall porch included lots of natural elements and traditional fall colors. In addition, it creates a warm and inviting look.

And my favorite part of the porch was its beautiful night glow! Use string lights {or Christmas lights!}, outdoor candles, lanterns, or a lighted tree to brighten up your space.
