Travel back to the 90’s with this cosmopolitan cocktail recipe! This classic vodka and cranberry juice drink may be retro, but it’s still refreshing and delicious.

If you’ve seen all the episodes like I did, sex and the city, Cosmopolitan Cocktail, or Cosmo for short, you have to learn how to make. This tart, refreshing vodka drink is the show’s hallmark, and seeing Carrie and her friends drink enough of it makes me want to try it.

Below are my go-to cosmopolitan recipes, perfect for dinner parties, girls’ nights, and movie binge watching. sex and the city Reboot (who else is watching Season 2 this week?!). It is characterized by its gorgeous pink color and its sweet and spicy taste. Sure, the classic Cosmo is a little 1990s. But it’s also delicious. cheers!

What’s in a Cosmopolitan Cocktail?

The Cosmo Cocktail as we know it today evolved from the drink of the 1930s. Cosmopolitan 1934. Ingredients include gin, cointreau, lemon juice, and raspberry syrup gives it a pink color.

New York City bartender Toby Cecchini said, often quoted As the founder of the modern cosmopolitan. He developed his vodka and cranberry his juice cocktail in the late 1980s, using Absolut His Citron His Vodka, a citrus-flavored vodka that was new to the market at the time.

How to serve this international recipe

Cosmos are traditionally served in a coupe or martini glass, but you can of course use any type of glass you prefer.

A twist of orange or lemon is a classic garnish. If you’re still practicing your citrus twisting skills, the untwisted peel is a great alternative. Simply peel an orange or lemon using a vegetable peeler. Be careful not to cut too much of the white core!
