Coconut Lime Margarita, Coconut Margarita with lime, call it whatever you want, but know it’s definitely a crowd pleaser.

Added instructions for adding a beautiful toasted coconut rim. As you know, we want to add just a few. Enjoy this happy hour delight with your girlfriends, at parties, and wherever you want your tropical island to take you.

Ingredients for Easy Coconut Margarita

That’s right, you only need four key ingredients to make this refreshing, sweet, tart, tropical margarita.

  • tequila: I like to use Silver Tequila, also known as Tequila Blanco, in all my margarita recipes. I haven’t tried this recipe with any other liquor, so I don’t know what it will taste like!
  • lime: Squeezed with fresh lime juice for the perfect acidity.
  • sweetener: feel free to use agave syrup again simple syrup To sweeten margaritas. See below for how to make your own simple syrup with just two ingredients. Many margarita recipes call for triple sec or cointreau, but I prefer agave.
  • Coconut milk: you will need some full fat coconut milk To get the real coconut flavor (from the can). Many people use coconut cream or coconut cream to add sweetness and richness, but I like to combine canned coconut milk with a little agave for a more natural flavor.
  • Garnish with: I like toast topping my glass shredded coconut Rims, lime peels, and lime wedges!
