These are spicy! Season with chili powder, pepper, garlic powder and paprika and dip into hot sauce. I love the buffalo flavored ones. This is evident from the many buffalo recipes on my blog. I made the nuggets very crispy with the oil. Buffalo Chicken Nuggets Ingredients:

  • chicken: We use 2 pieces of boneless and skinless chicken breast cut into bite size pieces. You can also use boneless thighs if you like darker meat, or cut the breast into longer lengths to make buffalo chicken tenders.
  • spices: Season the chicken with garlic powder, paprika, chili powder and black pepper.
  • coating: Dip chicken nuggets in hot sauce and then bread crumbs (gluten-free bread crumbs work too).I love Frank’s Red HotBut feel free to use whatever you like.
  • olive oil spray: Spray chicken with olive oil and fry.

  • 1 lb boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast (2 Breasts)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chili powder, Use powdered cayenne to heat
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs, or gluten-free bread crumbs
  • olive oil spray
  • 3 tablespoon frank’s hot sauce, or your favorite hot sauce
  • Optional: celery stalks and carrot sticks, 1/2 cup blue cheese dressing, for serving
  • Cut the chicken into small bite-sized pieces. Season with garlic powder, paprika, chili powder and black pepper.

  • Put the bread crumbs in a small bowl. Place hot sauce in another small bowl.

  • Dip the chicken in the hot sauce several times at a time, then in the bread crumbs, batches as needed, and place in the air fryer basket in a single layer.

  • Spray the top with plenty of olive oil, air-fry at 400°C for 8 minutes, turn over halfway through, and spray the other side as well.

  • Garnish with celery and carrot sticks and blue cheese dressing, if desired.
