A few years ago, I had the wonderful opportunity to consult on exactly this project. In her century-old schoolhouse built in 1873, the sweetest young couple lovingly turned it into a family weekend getaway. When they first acquired the property many years ago they asked me for a little advice. To help them get their thoughts down on paper we met for some design consultations and then they were off to the races. And the combination of sheer talent and sheer love tied it all together.
